E-Sports Program

Why E-Sports?

Gaming competition can be one of the most rewarding activities students will experience during their school years. Honor, dedication, commitment, integrity, perseverance, interdependence, and self-reliance are several of the important life skills and virtues students can strengthen by participating in the E-Sports programs available at school. The E-Sports program at Esperanza Cyber is an active extension of the curriculum. It is not a separate program that exists for its own purpose. Gaming involvement serves as a positive and healthy complement to the classroom experience. Gaming provides students with an opportunity to use physical motor skills that have been fine-tuned through practice and repetition. Team sports allow the students to develop maturation in sportsmanship, social interaction, commitment, self-image, and discipline. Team competition provides young people with an opportunity for handling multiple skills and emotions in a disciplined format.
